Sandy Hook Fishing Report November 6, 2011: What a gorgeous fall day down on the Jersey shore! Tracy and I spent the most of our day fishing the beaches with no luck for most of the day. Somewhere about nightfall, Tracy did the Cherokee Indian fish catching dance and upon its conclusion the rod started to bend! Go figure! In came a 22 inch striped bass which saved the day from skunkhood. Not exactly the monster I had hoped for but at least it was a little excitement.
Gonna fish the Connecticut shore this weekend, hopefully we will get a little more lucky!
